ICM 2006 Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest

Hi,

In association with the International Congress of Mathematicians to be held later this year an international Fractal Art contest took place in the honour of Benoit Mandelbrot the "father" of Fractals and a speaker at the ICM.

Thanks for the link, Dave. I've been wondering what the results of the contest were.

I looked at them and I'm glad to say they picked most of my favorites. I guess that means my taste in fractal art isn't as freaky as I thought, or maybe it means the selection committee's taste is also as freaky as mind.

They've certainly produced a good collection of fractal art.
